The Bao’s. £7 for 2 bao buns -

Grilled Chicken -

Marinated tender thigh meat, roast nuts, basil, and our house made

miso mayo & lemongrass sweet chilli.

The Gua Bao -

5 hour pork belly, hoi sin, pickled cucumber, coriander & spring onion.

Beer battered Oyster Mushroom - (v)

Oyster mushroom fried and crispy, fresh basil, miso mayo, nuts, and pickle.

Sweet Potato Wedges - (v) £4

Twice cooked sweet potato wedges, dressed and loaded with miso mayo, lemongrass chilli sauce, nuts and spring onion.

Vegetable spring rolls. 6. - 4 pieces

Crispy rolls of vegetables, wrapped in a delicate pastry, lightly fried and loaded with coriander, spring onion, herbs and dressed in our punchy sweet chilli lemongrass sauce.

Duck spring rolls. £7. - 4 pieces

Crispy rolls of duck wrapped in a delicate pastry, lightly fried and loaded with coriander, spring onion, herbs and dressed in our punchy sweet chilli lemongrass sauce.

Java Curry Vegetable fritters. £7. - 3 pieces

A Japanese favorite in the bars around Tokyo. Think vegetable curry, in a fritter. Highly addictive and unusual, served with a dressed Asian salad and dip. (Eats well with a light larger.)

Japanese Vegetable Curry & Lime Leaf Rice. £8. - Add chicken? £3 supplement.

Curry paste cooked out with ginger and garlic, an array of vegetables. Our curry is served with steamed rice, topped with crispy onions, fresh coriander and spring onions.

Be sure to ask for the vegan option as the sauces will be swopped out for the vegan alternative.

Are there peanuts in the food, I’m allergic?


Yes, we use peanuts as a garnish. If you have a peanut allergy our menu is pretty much radio active for you and I would suggest giving our food a skip.




Alcohol / Corkage


Kogarashi doesn’t serve alcohol, but you can try Tyne Bank Brewery’s full range of beers brewed on site and well as the full selection of wine and spirits.

Only DIY BAO boxes.

Yes, you can order to take away.

Kogarashi accepts all major credit cards as well as bank EFT and PayPal.




Holidays


Kogarashi is open/available on all public holidays at Tyne Bank Brewery if they fall into Thursday- Saturday. Check out our facebook events or insta socials to see what festivals Kogarashi outdoor is doing on bank holidays.




When will my order be delivered?


Orders placed will be delivered the next day between 12.00-19.00 Wed-Sat




How will I know how to make the Bao's?


Included in your kit will be a detailed instruction manual.




Is it safe to get food from Kogarashi during Covid -19?


Yes, our Kogarashi staff wear full protective gear and are well trained in UK health standards.
